For Volunteer Providers

Welcome to UoC Volunteering!

The Volunteering and Mentoring Team at the University of Chester aim to help students make the most of their time here through volunteer opportunities within the University and in the wider community.

By registering on this website, students can find volunteer opportunities, log their volunteer hours, track their progress and apply for our University of Chester Volunteering (UCV) awards.

****Coronavirus update****

Although we recognise that many of your face to face opportunities have been suspended, we are still encouraging our students to volunteer if they can. We have added new information to our site to signpost students to virtual or remote volunteering which can be done from home. We also want to let them know how they can support the local community if it is safe for them to do so.

We have added a ‘Covid-19/Social Distancing Filter’ to the area where you add new activities and would encourage you to utilise this if you have any remote opportunities to upload that our students can support you with. We would also suggest that you update the ‘acknowledgement email’ on the activities you already had active on our website to explain what your situation is at the moment.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any ideas for opportunities you would like to share. We are working remotely and will continue to support you as much as possible during this difficult time.

As a registered provider, you can use this site to advertise your volunteer opportunities to our students.

Once you have registered and we have approved your registration you will then be able to add volunteer activities (roles) so students can then apply directly to you.

*PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT ADVERTISE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROFIT MAKING ORGANISATIONS OR OPPORTUNITIES ABROAD
