 Looking for Something to Do This Summer Break? 

 

There are lots of charities and not-for-profit organisations looking for  volunteers. Whilst you take a break from studying why not volunteer? Don’t forget: any volunteering you do—locally, nationally, or internationally—can be recorded on the Volunteer Hub. This can lead to awards and recognition on your CV or job applications!

What sort of things can I do?

• 2wish – volunteers wanted for the Together Again Festival between 23^rd – 28^th July
• Age UK Superstore – volunteers needed in various roles over summer!
• Campus Children’s Holidays – Volunteers needed for their children’s holiday camps (must apply by 30^th June)
• DeafBlind UK – looking for Community Fundraing Group Volunteers
• Down Syndrome Cheshire – Support needed in June and July
• Heswall Disabled Children’s Holiday Camp – apply now! Camps between 16^th – 23^rd Aug
• L’Arche Liverpool – various roles working with adults with learning disabilities
• Kingsway Café – volunteer at this community café.
