Mentoring Projects

The Volunteering and Mentoring Team manage two mentoring projects:

School Mentoring

School Mentoring offers students the chance to get involved with local primary and secondary schools as a mentor.

Our mentors work one-to-one and with small groups to support pupils in overcoming barriers and reach their full potential, and is a fantastic opportunity for those who want to go into teaching, have a desire to work with young people, or simply gain experience in a professional environment.

RECRUITMENT FOR SCHOOL MENTORS OPEN OCTOBER 2020 - for more information please email volunteering@chester.ac.uk

Peer Mentoring

Be a Peer Mentor

Peer Mentors are second and third year students from all campuses who have undertaken training from the Volunteering and Mentoring Team. Peer Mentors are able to share their experiences and provide information about other university services to new students.
